We encourage both individual creators and restaurants to share genuine, honest, and respectful content about food, culinary experiences, and dining options. The following policy outlines the standards for integrity and authenticity on our platform, ensuring that all videos, whether from individual creators or restaurants, meet these values.
1. Authentic Representation of Food
Aioli encourages users to share authentic and accurate representations of food, whether the content is created by individuals or restaurants. All videos and live streams should truthfully reflect the appearance, preparation, and presentation of food items. Any content that misleads viewers by showing altered, exaggerated, or fabricated food items will be removed. This includes videos from restaurants that inaccurately represent their menu items or food quality.
2. Transparency in Sponsored and Promotional Content
Aioli requires full transparency in any sponsored or promotional content, including content shared by restaurants. When restaurants or other brands collaborate with creators, they must clearly disclose such partnerships. This applies to videos, live streams, and posts that feature paid promotions, sponsored menu items, or partnerships with specific food brands. Proper labeling, such as "sponsored" or "ad," must be used to differentiate promotional content from regular user-generated content.
3. Accuracy in Menu Representations
Restaurants are encouraged to showcase their menu items authentically, with clear, accurate descriptions of the food, ingredients, and preparation methods. Content should not misrepresent the nature or quality of the food served, nor should it mislead viewers regarding portion sizes, ingredients, or pricing. Any material misrepresentation regarding menu items may result in content removal and potential consequences for the restaurant's account.
4. No Fabrication or Manipulation of Food Content
Aioli expects that all food content, including videos shared by restaurants, will remain true to the food's original form and preparation process. While creative presentation and styling are encouraged, any content that manipulates or stages food to deceive viewers about its appearance, taste, or preparation method is prohibited. This includes excessive enhancement of food's visual appearance or using misleading props that do not reflect the true nature of the dish.
5. No Plagiarism or Unauthorized Use of Content
Aioli values original content and requires creators, including restaurants, to respect the intellectual property rights of others. Videos, recipes, or techniques borrowed from other creators or sources must be properly credited. Plagiarizing content or using materials without permission from the original creator will result in the removal of the content and possible penalties against the responsible account.
6. Ethical Sourcing and Transparency
We encourage both creators and restaurants to promote transparency regarding their sourcing practices. If applicable, restaurants should clearly communicate the origins of their ingredients, especially when it comes to sourcing sustainable or ethically-produced items. Content that encourages ethical sourcing, such as supporting local farms, sustainable seafood practices, or reducing food waste, is welcomed. Misleading claims about sourcing practices or sustainability will be reviewed and may result in content removal.

Aioli prohibits any form of artificial engagement or manipulation of platform metrics. This includes purchasing followers, likes, comments, or views, or using other deceptive tactics to artificially inflate the visibility of content. Restaurants and creators alike must refrain from practices that deceive the community or platform.

Aioli requires that any health or nutrition-related claims made in videos, whether from creators or restaurants, be accurate and based on reliable sources.
